“In this sign, conquer”. The legions underwent significant expansion and changes through Diocletian and Constantine’s reforms but by the late 6th century would become almost unrecognizable. Still, the legionaries fought across the whole of the Roman world against Pict and Irish raiders in Britannia, Vandals in North Africa, Sassanid Persians in Mesopotamia, and the never-ending onslaught of migrating Germanic and Hunnic tribes. More often than not they fought in brutal civil wars to determine who would be Emperor.
This hard plastic set allows you to build up to 24 legionaries with spatha, spear, and plumbata along with two types of standards and full command equipped in scale armor. This set provides three different helmet options: the Niedebieber, ridge, and Spangenhelm styles along with the iconic Late Roman ridge helmet. There are two types of crest options and extra heads to create command.
This set can also be used to create armored warriors for many Dark Age armies including Goths, Burgundians, Saxons, Franks, and the Romano-British among others. The entire Decline and Fall range is designed to mix and match from the various sets to create a huge variety of styles. Pair this box with WAALR001 LATE ROMAN LEGIONARIES (1): LORICA HAMATA for a mixed look in your legions. Use WAALR004 DARK AGES ARMY BUILDER for unarmored Romans. Many more sets are in the works for this range.
Models require assembly and painting. Bases are not included.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Handle all products with care. Recommended for ages 14 and up. Keep plastic, resin, and 3D-printed items away from excessive heat, direct sunlight, and open flames, as they may warp or become damaged.
Small parts may present a choking hazard and are intended for hobby use. Carefully remove parts from sprues using appropriate hobby tools.
Test-fit parts before gluing, painting, or modifying. Store unused parts in a cool, dry location.
Parts are supplied attached to the original plastic sprue and will require removal before assembly.
Carefully remove parts from the sprue using appropriate hobby cutters or flush cutters.
Trim any remaining sprue material carefully with a hobby knife or file.
Do not force or bend parts, as small or thin pieces may break.
Keep parts away from excessive heat, direct sunlight, and open flames, as plastic may warp or deform.
Parts are intended for model building and hobby use.
Always test-fit parts before gluing or painting.
